Unit Name: Digital Electronics

Description: The purpose of this course is to provide a more detailed and extensive coverage of digital electronics, for those specializing in electronics based units. This course further develops skills in the use of analytical techniques and instrument based measurements to evaluate the performance of digital electronic circuits ? with an emphasis on the integration of the `theoretical` and `practical` aspects of the course through use of appropriate laboratory based exercises. The application of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software is further developed.
