Unit Name: Circuit Analysis

Description: The purpose of this course is to provide the foundation in DC and AC circuit analysis required by all electrical technicians, irrespective of their area of specialisation.This course extends the skills in basic DC circuit analysis which were covered in the Electrical Principles course and provides a foundation in AC circuit analysis for use in other courses.In the delivery of this course, the integration of the ?theoretical? and ?practical? aspects of circuit evaluation will be emphasised, through the use of appropriate laboratory based exercises.
