Unit Name: Analogue Electronics II

Description: This is the second of two courses, the overall purpose of which is to provide students with an understanding of the basic principles of Analogue Electronics and to develop skills in the use of instruments and measurement techniques to evaluate the performance of Analogue Devices and Circuits. This course further develops knowledge and skills related to ?Amplifying Devices? and Circuits and cover the basic principles of waveform Generators and Optoelectronic and Power Control Devices and Circuits. In the delivery of this course, emphasis will be placed on integrating the ?theoretical? and ?practical? aspects of electronics, with particular attention being given to prototype circuit construction and testing.
