Unit Name: Analogue Electronics I

Description: This is the first of two courses, the overall purpose of which is to provide students with an understanding of the basic principles of Analog Electronics and to develop skills in the use of instruments and measurement techniques to evaluate the performance of Analog devices and circuits. This course is mainly concerned with basic Linear Amplifying Devices and circuits. In the delivery of this course, emphasis will be placed on integrating the theoretical and practical aspects of electronics, with particular attention being, given to prototype circuit construction and testing.
