Description: EDU736; Language and Literacy 2 builds on the students? understanding of learning and teaching of English in EDU641; Language and Literacy 1 and focuses on inclusivity in the Upper Primary Inclusive Classrooms. In this course students will generate ideas through the analysis of the relationship among culture context and language as they explore more fully the genres and textual features of spoken, written and visual text as they are valued across a range of texts in Fiji. With the implementation of the New Fiji Island Assessment Framework; External Assessment, the students will exercise significant judgment in diagnosing, planning, designing, implementing and evaluating Tests, Examination Papers and Remedial lessons that are inclusive for Upper Primary Inclusive Classrooms.
