Unit Name: Programme Assessment in ECE
Description: The purpose of this course is to define culture and curriculum and to use these concepts to illuminate early childhood education\'s unique status as a cultural crossroads between families and communities. Students will examine early childhood curriculum across cultures to better understand how decisions made about educating a community\'s youngest children are imbued with cultural meaning and significance. Students will use universal early childhood curriculum principles as a tool to examine early childhood curricula across variety of cultural contexts.
