Unit Name: Teaching in Early Years with technology

Description: This course provides teachers with an in-depth look into the most effective, evidence-based pedagogical practices in teaching literacy and numeracy in the early years; with careful consideration given to providing developmentally and culturally appropriate, meaningful, and relevant experiences with literacy and numeracy for children birth-age 8. The importance of using differentiated instructional strategies in teaching literacy and numeracy to support students with diverse learning needs will be emphasized.
