Unit Name: Educational Leadership, Ethics and Counseling in Secondary Education

Description: This units deals with aspects like concept of ethics, areas of ethics, ethical dimensions for teaching in educational institutions, code of conduct for teachers in Fiji and abroad, moral leadership, counselling and education in human values etc. These aspects are being covered in the unit to equip our pre-service/in-service teachers with current information on ethics in secondary education so that these aspects may be applied by them in secondary school environment effectively. In addition, the unit will also deal with the concepts of educatioal leadership and effective use of counselling and guidance in secondary schools.

Prerequisite: EDU558, EDU560, EDU561

Prerequisite Sentence: Pass all 500 Level Education Units (EDU558, EDU560 and EDU561)
