Unit Name: Enterprise, Innovation and Enrichment in Education

Description: The focus of this unit is on developing the student teacher\\\\\\\'s capacity to engage in and critically evaluate innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Trainees will explore current innovative practices for teaching and learning, develop strategies for critical evaluation of a range of approaches and apply enterprise in diverse enrichment areas. They also learn to identify best practices for healthy living and better care for the environment. Students will also develop understanding and skills in managing financial risks in investment and personal finance necessary for survival and success in today?s society. Furthermore, students will design and implement enterprising solutions to new opportunities, challenges and issues by engaging on a small scale enterprise project relevant to the curriculum.
