Unit Name: Curriculum Development and Practice

Description: This unit covers the different stages of curriculum development, the application of the curriculum theories and foundations on the teaching- learning , curriculum development , curriculum design, implementation and evaluation processes. It will also provide an opportunity to students to apply knowledge and skills in the development of classroom curriculum. The Fiji National Curriculum Framework which guides the teaching learning in Fiji - ECE, Primary and secondary schools is also been examined in this unit. The units concludes with curriculum issues and future trends.
