Unit Name: Social Education1

Description: This unit is designed to familiarize students with the area of Social Education and they Social Studies curriculum. It aims to enable them to acquire the knowledge and skills to plan and teach components of the curriculum particularly in primary school as well as develop appropriate assessment. The course will focus on basic strategies that may be used for developing concepts and skills as well as approaches for values exploration. Students will have the opportunities to prepare and evaluate resources for future teaching in the lower primary throughout the course as well as engage interactively in their learning.
