Unit Name: Intermediate Macroeconomics

Description: The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge on intermediate macroeconomic concepts. The purpose of this course is to provide knowledge on intermediate macroeconomic concepts. The course examines main principles of real income determination, basic concepts of general equilibrium in the economy with goods and financial assets markets, as well as means and ends of monetary, fiscaland redistribution policies. It deals with the stabilisation policy problems in a simple IS-LM framework leaving microeconomic foundations of consumption, investment, money demand etc.
