Unit Code: ECN404

Unit Name: Principles of Microeconomics

Description: The microeconomic principles will allow you to connect to decision making at individual level and at firm level and will also allow you to refer to the marketplace or system in which these choices interact with one another. This course can also accommodate students without significant background in economics as it intends to create awareness amongst non-economic students that economics is inevitably part of their decision-making processes in terms of the choices they make. The course highlights important issues that are detrimental to resource mismanagement and abuse. Through this course, students will be able to make rational decisions and optimal choices as well as accomplish tools for analytical processes required in other courses.
