Description: This course is to introduce the basic principles of transport technology skills with emphasis on their analysis and application to practical engineering problems and to develop the students understanding of technical development in the transportation industry. Develop the students? understanding of statistics, dynamics, energy, machines and engine power.

Learning Target Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the learner can: 1. Relate technical development with the industrial revolution. 2. Apply the economic importance and geopolitics of transport. 3. Relate the industrial revolution and transportation. 4. Specify the factors which leads to remarkable changes. 5. Apply the mechanism of land transport system. 6. Interpret the emergence of modern transport system.
