Description: This unit is design for the analysis of traffic flow , traffic control systems and certain physical features of transportation systems.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Analyse traffic states in space and time. 2. Develop traffic and queuing analytical solutions 3. Analyse traffic data includes flows or volumes, speeds, travel times, densities, occupancies, headways and gaps. 4. Understand traffic signals. 5. Discuss the signal timing and coordination. 6. Analyse transit operations.
