Unit Name: Vehicle Noise & Vibration

Description: This course offers to illustrate to the students the knowledge of various types of vehicle noise and vibration that is associated with the modern vehicles.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Analyse and discuss the nature and cause of vehicle noise and vibration. 2. Differentiate the definition of cycle, amplitude and frequency. 3. Differentiate vibration noise and their causes. 4. Apply and identify the different types of tools used to measure vibration. 5. Distinguish the first, second or third order vibration. 6. Demonstrate how to measure vibration frequency.
