Unit Name: Fleet Control

Description: This course is designed to introduce the basic principles of motor vehicle fleet control with emphasis on their analysis and application to practical transport engineering problems and to develop the students understanding on the purpose of fleet control.

Learning Target Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the learner can: 1. Interpret the purpose of fleet control. 2. Apply the principle of vehicle scheduling. 3. Relate vehicle dispatching with priority calls. 4. Specify intermodal transportation with the nature of quantity. 5. Interpret the forms of intermodal transportation 6. Differentiate the types of container application
