Unit Name: Transport Legislation 1

Description: Road traffic law, also referred to as motoring law, driving law or road law, is probably the field of law with most effect on everyday life for many of us.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to : 1. Describe the main components of vehicle Legislation. 2. Demonstrate the standard of inspection procedures and legislation on-road vehicles. 3. Interpret the consequences of driving under the influence of liquor. 4. Determine the importance of insurance applied to road vehicles. 5. Determine various approved construction standards. 6. Interpret traffic signs in relation to vehicle usage.
