Description: This course DME560 combines two disciplines in Marine Engineering Naval Architecture and Ship Construction. While Ship construction involves in shipbuilding, how it is designed is a job of a Naval Architect. The course touches on the basic of ship design essential to ships stability and safety. Ship Construction part is studied in more detail giving the students lessons in familiarization of ship.
