Unit Name: Maritime Law and Pollution Prevention, Leadership & Management

Description: This course covers some of the essential managerial duties of a Marine Engineer as while demonstrating some of the leadership qualities required on board. Some of the definitions are clarified in this week, and several Conventions of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) discussed.

Prerequisite: Student shall proceed to DME559 upon successful completion of the unit DME446 Presea Knowledge (Maritime Law) and completion of stage 3 (EA3).
