Unit Name: Intermediate Marine Engineering Science

Description: This course is a combination of Marine Applied Mathematics, Applied Mechanics and Thermodynamics. These three non-core subjects are mandatory for a Marine Engineer to make calculations, understand mechanics and thermodynamics associate with marine machinery at intermediate level.

Prerequisite: Student shall proceed to DME450 upon successful completion of the unit DME445 Basic Marine Engineering Science and completion of stage 1 (EA1).
