Unit Name: Customs Calculations

Description: This course will provide students the opportunity to learn the imported goods duty calculation laws and regulation, Excise Act, and Water Resource Act. Students are given the opportunity to read, understand and apply Tariff Rates of the most recent year and interpret the relative documentations and INCOTERMS needed to calculate Customs Duty and Taxes. Students learn how to calculate Customs Duty & VAT (single and multi product line entries), Excise Duty, and Water Tax.
