Unit Name: International Carriage of Goods (General/Dangerous)

Description: This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and practices of the international carriage of goods, with a focus on both general and dangerous goods. This course offers a foundational understanding of how goods are traded and transported across borders. Emphasis is placed on the role of Customs in facilitating, regulating, and ensuring compliance with international laws, conventions, and safety standards. Through this course, students will gain insight into the legal and logistical frameworks that govern international trade and the movement of goods. Key topics include trade conventions, international transportation modes, the distinction and handling of dangerous goods, and Customs\' critical function in managing trade compliance, safety, and security.
