Description: This course offers students the opportunity to increase proficiency in both written and oral communication that can be adapted to a variety of situations at certificate level. This is to be achieved by developing the skills of listening which then leads to making notes, enhancing those notes through research of written materials culminating in adapting those skills for specific contexts. Simultaneously, speaking skills are developed that would allow the student to make basic seminar presentations which are well researched, structured and executed. All these skills are then practised in specialised context.
