Unit Name: Net for Business Application

Description: This course offers students an understanding of software development using a high-level language widely used in business and administrative data processing. It introduces students to the fundamental concepts of programmeming. Next, the student will learn how to write procedures, entity,collection and adapters. the course is designed to provide student with an opportcoursey to design and solve interesting real-world problems and will also contain programmeming qizzes intensive lab sessions to give studnets practice designing programmemes on their own.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students should be able to understand the following: 1. Evaluate various objects used to create Graphical User Interface (GUI) business applications. 2. Evaluate an Integrated Development Environment tool for rapid Graphical User Interface(GUI) application development. 3. Evaluate the manipulation of the data through the Object Oriented Paradigm 4. Evaluate the control structures that alter the sequential flow of executions 5. Demonstrate the implementation of data structures including arrays in programs and programs using user-defined methods and built-in functions. 6. Evaluate an exception and how it is handled within a program. 7. Demonstrate the implementation of ADO facilities to retrieve and update data in databases.

Prerequisite: The student must have passed CIN501 and CIN502 or equivalent
