Unit Name: Systems Analysis and Design

Description: This course offers students an understanding of how to analyze and design an information system to solve business problems using appropriate computer application software.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students should be able to understand the following: 1. Evaluate the context of systems analysis and design methods and their building blocks 2. Compare information systems development and project management 3. Evaluate systems analysis and fact-finding techniques for requirements discovery 4. Judge the data models used 5. Apply feasibility analysis 6. Evaluate the systems design methods 7. Generate the database design, output design, input design and user interface design
