Unit Name: Basic Fundamentals of Torchmate Software & Profile Cutter

Description: The purpose of this unit is to enable the development of knowledge, understanding and required for building structural building and fabrication in related and use of pipes. Structural iron and steel workers install iron or steel beams, girders, and columns to form buildings, bridges, and other structures. They are commonly referred to as ironworkers.

Learning Target Outcomes: 1. Learning the basic Creo Parametric modeling process and Understanding Creo Parametric concepts. 2. Learning how to use the Creo Parametric interface and the Selecting and editing geometry, features, and models. 3. Sketching geometry and using tools, Creating sketches for features and the datum planes and datum axes and also Creating extrudes, revolves, and profile ribs. 4. Utilizing internal sketches and embedded datum’s, Creating sweeps and blends and Creating holes, shells, and drafts. 5. Creating rounds and chamfers, Grouping, copying, and mirroring items, Creating patterns, Measuring and inspecting models, Assembling with constraints, Assembling with connections and Exploding assemblies.
