Description: The purpose of this unit is to enable the development of knowledge and skills required for designing weld joint to suite the material and its thickness that result to a sound welding. The proper you design welding joint the greater the amount of fusion and penetration.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students should be able to: 1. Demonstrate welding joints by Arc and gas welding Processes 2. Prepare Brazing joint 3. Resistance welded joint 4. Prepare joint welded by the spot-welding process 5. Prepare joints for projection welding 6. Prepare joints for flush and upset butt welding
