Description: The purpose of this course is to provide a foundation for those specializing in plant biology/botany. This course will detailly discuss the evolution, taxonomy and systematic charactersitics of plants. Different types of plants such as gymnosperms and angiosperms, monocot and dicot, and their structures particularly growing points of plants, root and shoot structure and functions also be discussed in this course.
