Unit Name: Fuel System Workshop

Description: This course offers students an understanding of the concept of automotive fuel systems. It also enable students to acquire an in depth practical knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical/electronic fuel system or components.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: i. Identify the fuel supply systems and the operation of each component. ii. Conduct standard tests on various engine fuel components using workshop manuals. iii. Perform the standard service and test procedures by the workshop repair manual on the engine fuel system. iv. Identify the different types of fuel pumps in an engine. v. Differentiate the various types of fuel injectors in an engine.
