Unit Name: Compressed Ignition Engine Workshop

Description: This course offers you the chance to utilize the theory aspect into practical implication of compression ignition technology. The hands on experience in practical knowledge of compression ignition engine, components and their operating principles.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: i. Carry out the service and repair for engine top-end construction. ii. Carry out the service and repair for engine bottom end construction. iii. Demonstrate the procedure to service engine front end construction. iv. Rectify and solve common faults in intake and exhaust systems. v. Demonstrate the service requirement for engine cooling and lubrication system.
