Unit Name: Spark Ignition Engine Workshop

Description: This course will introduces the students to competently service, adjust and check Spark Ignition engines by repairs, replacement or modification.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: i. Carry out the service and repair for engine top-end construction. ii. Carry out the service and repair for engine bottom-end construction. iii. Demonstrate the procedure to service engine front-end construction. iv. Rectify and solve common faults in intake and exhaust systems. v. Demonstrate the service requirement for engine cooling and lubrication system.
