Description: This course will introduces the students to competently service, adjust and check Spark Ignition engines by repairs, replacement or modification.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: i. Describe the service and repair procedures for engine top-end construction. ii. Describe the service and repair procedures for engine bottom-end construction. iii. Explain the service and repair procedures for engine front-end construction. iv. Detail service requirements for engine operating systems. v. Explain the trends and development of the engine.
