Unit Name: Animal Research Method and Experimental Design

Description: This course is designed to provide students with the practical tools of doing animal science research. The course imparts knowledge and skills on how to design experiments, teach students of the different methods used to collect data (questionairres, interviews and observations) and perform appropriate statistical analysis of data commonly collected in animal/plant sciences. Students will also familiarize themselves with PC-based statistical computing applications for animal/plant sciences and how to write scientific manuscripts.
