Unit Name: Practicum/ Industrial Training

Description: One of the main aims of the programme is to graduate students who are research ready and with good conceptual and analytical skills to be employed in different sectors of the country including even the University. The breadth of courses in the programme underlines the broad and interdisciplinary content of the programme. The last Four Credit points of the programme are expected to be earned not through classroom teaching with a Course/Unit but through experience in a working situation. In other words, a practical experience of a twelve-week period gained through placement with an organization. This could be either the public or the private sector, NGO, regional or international organization
