Unit Name: Social Research Methods II

Description: This course seeks to sharpen and refine students? research skills to make them research-ready. To achieve this, the course includes SPSS training as well as laboratory sessions on inferential and descriptive statistics. The course covers research paradigms as well as the essential practical skills in data analysis and presentation. Not only will the student get to learn about the two main scientific (positivist and humanistic) approaches to social research, he/she will also be able to align research methodology to its underlying research philosophy.
