Unit Name: Entrepreneurship and Social Change

Description: Entrepreneurship and social change provides an opportunity for students to understand the meaning of entrepreneurship and apply the relevant skills to a business venture if they chose to or provide assistance to anyone in business. The students will be introduced business ecosystem, structures, characteristics, and most importantly the motivation of the business founder. The unit will adopt a more practical strategy with the main component as the development of an idea which students would be required to develop in groups using resources any available resources from their own communities or elsewhere. A 10 minute business proposal presentation “My Big Idea” part of the Unit. Assessment marks will be given for the each stages of the development of this idea.
