Unit Name: Anaesthesia II

Description: The purpose of the Master of Medicine in Anaesthesia programme is to build on the knowledge and skills in the basic sciences, pharmacology and practical conduct of Anaesthesia & Intensive Care to enable candidates to practice as a specialist in Anaesthesia within the pacific. The first two years of this MMED programme (ANA820/ANA830) is a combined curriculum to build on PGDA foundation and aims to further develop the knowledge and skills of the candidates in perioperative medicine. The course is based on the problem-based learning (PBL) method of teaching and supervised clinical duties in approved hospitals to gain relevant technical skills.
