Unit Name: Fluid Power Systems

Description: The purpose of this module is to provide the student with knowledge and skills relevant to hydraulic systems and components, principles and maintenance, pneumatic systems and components, and high-pressure air systems.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to understand; 1. Describe the constructional features, principles of operation, location and relationship of aircraft hydraulic system components. 2. Diagnose faults in aircraft hydraulic systems. 3. Describe the operating principles of, diagnose faults in, and maintain high and low-pressure air systems.
