Description: This module is to familiarise the student with radio pulse systems.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this module, students will be able to; a) Describe construction, operation, and characteristics of Pulse systems b) Describe operation and characteristics of weather radar systems c) Describe operation and characteristics of secondary surveillance radar and Air Traffic Control transponder systems d) Describe the operation and characteristics of radio altimeter systems. e) Describe the operation and characteristics of the Aircraft Collision Avoidance System (ACAS). f) Describe the operation and characteristics of Aircraft Distance Measuring Equipment. g) Describe the operation and characteristics of the Doppler Navigation System.
