Unit Name: Analogue Fundamentals 3

Description: This module will provide the student with the underpinning knowledge necessary to carry out safe maintenance, servicing, testing and fault diagnosis of analogue circuitry on a wide range of aircraft systems

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: a) Describe the construction and operation of Field Effect Transistors (FETs). b) Describe the construction and operation of Thermionic Emission Valves. c) Describe the construction and operation of Operational Amplifiers. d) Describe the construction and operation of Multivibrators and Oscillators. e) Describe the operation of DC power supplies.
