Unit Name: Aircraft Electrical Systems 2

Description: This module is to familiarise the student with the operation of aircraft lighting systems, warning systems, Fire protection systems, propeller systems, ice and rain protection systems, landing gear systems and anti-skid systems.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to; 1. Fully understand the operation and function of aircraft lighting systems. 2. Fully understand the operation and function of aircraft warning systems. 3. Fully understand the operation and function of aircraft fire protection systems. 4. Fully understand the operation and function of aircraft propeller systems. 5. Fully understand the operation and function of aircraft ice and rain protection systems. 6. Fully understand the operation and function of aircraft landing gear systems. 7. Fully understand the operation and function of aircraft antiskid systems.
