Description: This module will provide you with the basic theory, practice, associated terms and processes which will enable you to identify, handle, inspect, and work with a range of metals and other materials.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to; 1. Identify different structural parts of aircraft. 2. Define the properties of materials 3. Identify different types of aircraft metallic materials. 4. Identify different types of aircraft non-metallic materials. 5. Describe the metal testing methods. 6. Carry out a simple sheet metal repair on aircraft structure.
