Unit Name: Agriculture Water Management

Description: The purpose of this unit is to familiarize students with water and its role in plant growth, water resources, principal crops, cropping seasons, water requirements of principal crops of the country. This will enable students, thorough understand soil-water-plant relationships, irrigation methods, types of losses and their management along with comprehensive knowledge of crop water requirement, its estimations and quality of irrigation water.
