Unit Name: Agricultural Meteorology & Hydrology

Description: This unit focuses on the factors that affect the weather and climate of a place and their importance in agriculture. The students gain an understanding of climate change, adverse and severe weather conditions. They would be able to take precautionary measures, offer assistance and advice during times of emergency. Engineering technologists would be able to decide on the types of crops that can be grown under different agro-climatic zones of Fiji.
