Unit Name: Farm Tractor and Power

Description: This unit builds on the basic knowledge about the different systems and controls used in a tractor, usage of farm tractor, their operation and maintenance. Engineering technologists would be able to identify the engine components and understand the working principles of internal combustion engines, carry out basic servicing, maintenance and minor repairs on tractors. Various sources of renewable energy available on the farm are also discussed.
