Unit Name: Farm Machinery and Implement

Description: The unit will introduce the students to various types of farm machinery and equipment used on farms in Fiji, appropriate technology, mechanisation issues, and the associated gender, social, environmental, economic and sustainability issues. The students will gain a general understanding of the purpose, processes, operating principles, care and maintenance of farm tractors and agricultural machinery and equipment.
