Unit Name: Tractor Operations and Small Engines

Description: This course will enable students to develop the basic knowledge, understanding and skills required in the operations, repairs, adjustments and maintenance of various farm machinery and tractors, practice safe habits in operating a tractor and perform basic mechanical adjustments and repairs of various engines and farm machines.

Learning Target Outcomes: 1. Perform safety procedures in operating a tractor. 2. Describe the engine cycle and working principles of various engines and farm machinery. 3. Perform basic mechanical adjustments and repairs of various engines and farm machines. 4. Attach three-point mounted implements to the tractor which control by the tractor steering unit. 5. Operate and tests working performance and efficiency of machines and tractor.
