Unit Name: Alternative Drive II

Description: This course offers the students a variety of assessment criteria that enhances their ability of individuals to understand the electrical/electronic aspects of Hybrid system vehicle. Also enables students to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Hybrid & Fuel system vehicle system, components, their functions, SAFETY and operating principles system, its function will broaden student knowledge in understanding the very basic about this system, which will later help them to carry-out diagnosing of electrical faults.

Learning Target Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Determine the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair on Battery Electrical Vehicle [BEV]. 2. Justify the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair systematic procedures on High Voltage & Auxiliary Battery. 3. Analyze the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair systematic procedures on Hybrid Drive Configuration systems. 4. Evaluate the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair systematic procedures on Hybrid & Electrical Safety systems. 5. Determine the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair systematic procedures on vehicle fuel cell systems.
