Description: Auditors play an extremely vital role in today?s changing and litigious business environment. Recent developments in the auditing practice and standards reflect how the profession responds to the complex demands of information, assurance, corporate failures and technology. This unit has been designed to instill effective auditing techniques that will ultimately enable students to manage, plan, conduct and report on a wide range of audits. The course will cover relevant standards, guidelines and other professional and legal pronouncements within which the auditing profession functions.
